Deidre Meyer is a Licensed Play A Story Instructor at Passion Studios. With over 10 years of classical experience, Deidre took piano and violin throughout high school, playing competitively for both instruments. She always wanted to be able to sit down and play a song without needing the music piece in front of her. When her daughter Jorja started Simply Music at the studio, Deidre had her dream realized. She adds a vivid flourish of excitement and spontaneity to our Play A Story program for our five and six year old students.

Deidre teaches special education in the Des Moines Public School District and her family lives in Ankeny. She can’t wait to get other young musicians started on their musical journey.
